Fully analog recorded tom samples for Slate Trigger 2 available in all possible keys, tuned in semitone steps, captured using multiple microphone positions in four different configurations:

  • Open
  • Tea Towel Edition
  • No Resonant Head Edition
  • Mallets Edition

  • Tuning Range: (A1 - C2) = 16 Keys

Simple Layout

All presets are designed to give you full creative control with just eight faders. If you want to change the close-mic combination, simply swap the TCI files in the corresponding slot.

Drumset and tuning

I used a Ludwig three-ply drum kit for this library in the sizes 16"/14"/12". The individual toms were tuned as follows:

  • 16" - A1
  • 16" - A#1
  • 16" - B1
  • 16" - C1
  • 16" - C#1
  • 16" - D1
  • 16" - D#1
  • 14" - E1
  • 14" - F1
  • 14" - F#1
  • 12" - G1
  • 12" - G#1

Sustain

The open tunings intentionally have a slightly longer sustain, giving you maximum flexibility to shape them for your mix. If necessary, you can simply use the “View Curves” feature in Slate Trigger to shorten the samples.

Snare Bleed

You also have the option to add snare bleed to the toms if needed. Each pack includes a dedicated TCI file for snare bleed.
